A photo coaster is a small mat with your photo on it that can be placed under a glass or mug etc. It is a more elegant and durable variation on the beer coaster and is made of wood or tile. What you should watch out for when buying photo coasters:
- The size of the photo coaster is approximately 3.5" x 3.5". Make sure that the photo you want to use can be enlarged to this size and that the important details are within this area. (We recommend: 1100 x 1100 Pixels)
- Make sure that the blank coasters are white to ensure the color brilliance of your photo coasters.
- Good producers use a photo slightly bigger than the coaster to ensure that there isn't an ugly white edge around your photo coaster. Your photo will be cropped by approx. 1/8" all round so make sure all the important parts of your photo are away from the edge.
- Make sure that the coaster is not too small. The photo coaster should be at least 3.5" x 3.5" to ensure that regular sized glasses will fit on it.
